Orange Day...(Disney 2)

Every day we spray painted the kids hair a different color. We figured it would be easier to count them/find them in a crowd. One drawback was that the paint didn't ever seem to dry...then poor Kb had it change his scalp that color...and required kids to take a bath every night! And you'll notice, I didn't let Kp's hair get sprayed. I spent way too long doing her hair to have it ruined the first week. She did, however, get a good dose of pixie dust sprinkled on her - AND is still in her hair today!

Sarah...she is the best. There are simply no words to describe how wonderful she is! She used to live here, but took an internship at Disney after college and has worked there since. She was a great help last year, and an even bigger help this year. She would meet up with us on her "breaks" and after work. She was the best at getting around the parks...took all thinking and threw it out the window. We just blindly followed Sarah around!

We split up a lot, so that everyone could do what they wanted. This time I found myself (unwillingly) in the line for the Merry-Go-Round. I don't do spinney stuff (but it sounded better than Space Mountain after dinner!)...luckily it goes around twice and you get off! But then I was forced onto the Tea Cups (luckily) we had Sarah, and she rode with my boys!

Dinner that night was also great! All the kids sat at one table and the waitress took care of them. She took their orders, cut their food, fed some of them, got them to eat before she'd bring out the dessert! She was the best waitress ever. Now all the boys at one table did have some drawbacks...I think the table was tipped twice, both times no one was hurt and nothing was on the table (luckily)!

It is Disney's Year of a Million dreams, so we were "picked" to view the fireworks from the top of a ride in Future land. It was so cool to be high up and see the fireworks! Thanks Mike and Sarah!

*The kids loved Disney. Kb and Kp acted as if they knew what it was and dreamed all their lives of going. The one problem Kp had was telling if things were real or not. She kept asking if it was "real." So the answers were: No, the dolls in It's A Small World are not real. No, the people in Pirates of the Caribbean are not real. Yes, Cinderella is a real person, but that is not really Cinderella. Yes, that is a real person inside the Winnie the Pooh costume, but Pooh is not real. Oh, the questions abounded and there was no easy explanation!
(the entire beauty of Disney World and we get a family picture in front of...a trash can????)
