Things I Love, but Others Wish I Didn't

• Garlic - I love garlic, but it simply does not like me. I am one of those people that sweat it out of my pores. My sister-in-law LOVES me when I eat garlic.
• Ponytail holders - These are the best thing that was ever created. No need to do my hair! I love it! Others (especially Mom) have been on me all the time about why I never "do" my hair/look presentable! The comment has also been made about my need to wear pigtails at my age? Oh, well two is better than one!
• Sweatpants and free T-shirts - What a marvelous combination! I think that is a totally acceptable outfit to wear out. Others, specifically the two mentioned in the ponytail item, do not think so. The first day after getting home from my honeymoon, Hubby and I fought was about what I was wearing to class/work. He came home that night with 8 new shirts. Nice. He didn't like my style! Then I worked at a lab - that was a free for all as far as clothes were concerned! No one could see me anyway! And now? I only get dressed when I go out...forewarning in case you ever thought of "popping in."
• General Hospital - yeah, yeah. I have heard it all. No need to jump on the band wagon of how bad they are. I got addicted to them with my friend, Liz in high school. We would go to her house after school, make rice krispy treats with chocolate and watch the latest episode! Jax, Carly, Sonny, Jason...need I say more???
• Epidemiology - No one likes to hear what I know...and no one likes my germophobic tendencies! For my college writing class, I wrote an entire paper about why you shouldn't keep your toothbrushes anywhere near the toilet. Not too many people found humor in that!

I am sure I can come up with more, but that's all my brain can handle tonight!
