Only a mother would consider taking her daughter to Germany...after her daughter has been such a snot to her all her life! There are so many things that you just don't understand until you are a mother yourself. One is how absolutely selfish I was as a child and how much of an absolute pain I was (especially in my teen years???)!
So...I wanted to take time to wish my Mom a Happy Birthday and thank her from the bottom of my heart for all that she has done for me...and all that she will do for me in the future. I would've given up on me long ago if I were her, but because she is my mom, instead of kicking me out of the house...she endured the teenage years and loved me...and now I am not quite as bad as I was!
Mom - you have become not only a great mother, but you have become one of my greatest friends. Thank you for everything that you do for me (especially because I am still a snot sometimes :-) ) Thank you for loving me and being there for me when I need you! I hope you have a wonderful day today! I love you :-)
