Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I have been meaning to, but simply cannot find the time or the energy! I'll go back to Easter...I hope you all had a wonderful Easter! We spent most of the weekend lying around. We passed a fever/chest cold around and didn't have much traditional Easter. My niece, Molly, said it the best, "It doesn't even feel like Easter." True. Being sick definitely makes the holidays not as fun. Also, the weekend before Easter, we took the kids to Brian's work for an Easter Egg Hunt. Joy. Ever try explaining the Easter Bunny to a child who has not a clue why there is a life sized bunny sitting in the hallway waving at them??? Again, funny :-)
In the past week, we've just tried to play catch up. Kp started in the Homeschoolers Friday classes. She had a great time! She also went to her first non-family birthday party. Kb is still hanging around mommy and not quite ready to venture out on his own yet.
We got the first round of blood work back on the kids and it all looks good so far. I am now in the middle of "collections." And for those have a great laugh at that, I am on 6 of 14 collected! So feel free to keep laughing at me!
Funny thing:
I was in the other room and I hear Kd telling Kb, "You are not allowed to say 'leave me," when I hit you, you have to say, 'Kd please don't do that.' " I hope you can hear the humor in Kd telling Kb, when I beat you up, you must reply kindly to me and obey mommy by not saying leave me! Oh, the mind of a 3 year old!
Lingo that we are keeping:
Chunk it - means to throw it
I'm gonna beat you! - I know we shouldn't but Kb is too funny saying it!
Fish biscuits - Goldfish crackers
Ok - Hope everyone is having a good weekend. I am going to try to keep up with the blogging!
