Big news...

The Parks finally have high speed internet access...no longer will you hear the PeoplePC people come on the line to say that we are on the internet! I know this is big news to all of you who try to get through and cannot because we are on-line, or I accidentally left the computer on and walked away! Yeah!!!

Also we had Kp and Kb's doctors appointment down in Pittsburgh today. Everything went so well. They really are as healthy as can be expected and are emotionally and physically doing exceptionally well. They are starting again with all vaccines because we don't know what they have and have not had...this was a very trying time for Kp who is a little, shall we say, DRAMATIC? However, she still is nothing compared to her older sister that still holds the crown. In order to dethrone that queen...Kp would need to pass out...not likely! Anyway, they each got rounds of injections (not fun) and their TB test (not fun) and their blood drawn (really not fun). A few weeks ago my nephew cracked his head open and needed staples, when we asked, "did he scream?" My sister in law replied that he had "an appropriate amount" of screaming. Well, I am going to steal her answer, in that the kids, with all they went through today, there was an appropriate amount of screaming??? I admit that I take the low road. I explain that the vaccines are for their own good, and that it will only hurt for a minute, then I blame it all on the bad nurses who did it...I didn't do it (sorry to all those nurses out there!) Real mature, right?
Anyway, I truly feel blessed that the kids are in really good physical health considering where they came from. They are in really good emotional health...they are able to express all emotion with us that they have...the happy, sad, angry and love...which I take as a good sign that they feel comfortable with us to do that. I don't know what all is going on in their little brains and in their little hearts, but all in good time they will come to share that with us...when they are ready...
